Greetings! My name is Donna, and while I don’t work in the wine industry, like many of you, I have a deep appreciation for wine. Red wine is my go-to choice, but I also enjoy white wines during the summer months. I always wished there was a type of wine that bridged the gap between red and white, and I recently discovered Orange wine during a trip to Croatia in 2021.

Since returning to Toronto, I have been on the hunt for Orange wines to purchase at local LCBOs and small stores, but I found that none of them could compare to the local Croatian Malvasia grape wine. Luckily, I crossed paths with Tanya from “Croatia Unpacked,” who imports wines from Croatia. I have sampled all of their Orange wines and even tried some from France, Spain, and local Ontario producers.
